Mussels from October 1st at Sportsbar West

From October 1st it will be really tasty again at Sportsbar West Düsseldorf: mussels will be on our daily menu every day. Perfect for everyone who comes not only for football, drinks and the sports bar atmosphere, but also wants good, hearty food.

Mussels are a true classic for cozy autumn and winter evenings – served hot, aromatic in broth, with bread, fries or suitable sides. The Rhenish style is especially well known, where blue mussels are traditionally cooked in a white‑wine vegetable broth with ingredients such as onions, leeks, carrots, celery and spices.

Other preparations also show how versatile mussels can be: French as Moules Marinières with white wine, shallots, garlic, butter and parsley, Spanish style with tomato, garlic, white wine, paprika and herbs or a more Mediterranean version with garlic, olive oil, herbs and lemon.
